So at the beginning of December last year I was under the impression I would be joining the national guard after separating from the active duty army, but I did not receive the edited version of my dd214 and after 1 phone call and 1 visit with the guy in charge of connecting me to my unit, I wasn't informed of where, who and what I was supposed to do. I couldn't find a job that paid enough to live in an apartment and ended up being homeless, unable to pay for my phone bill. But after some time I moved back to my home state got back on my feet and tried contacting my connecting guy again, this time I was able to talk to the psg in charge of my platoon that I was supposed to be a part of. Was informed that they were in the process of making me awol until I called, I explained my situation and asked for a transfer to the state I moved to and they said it would be fine. But then after a couple phone calls trying to connect myself to both parties I never received any information again and am quite puzzled as to what to do. It took so long the year that I was supposed to serve has already passed and now I'm afraid of being pinned as awol. I've tried contacting the same resources but to no avail. What can I do?
