My section leader is gone, everything cool got canceled, we are at less than half strength, and I'm trying to do the most trying to get aircraft up with as little power as I have as an E4. Most people do respect me I will say and are good with my work when they check it. But holy crap. I'm about to explode on one guy. During one task at the end of the day I'm looking over his work after I'm pushing us to get this done telling him to do this simple task. And it's all fubar. Like you couldn't tell that he moved the part around to clean it. And that he only cleaned the little bit you see if you don't move it.
I tried telling him, hey that's wrong, do it like this and redo it. "Oh no it's dry" I'm sorry but if you think an oil based product dries and looks like dirt on chrome you shouldn't be working on an aircraft and was exceptionally disrespectful. When I confronted it later, bro. The disrespect. We are at work rn. I'm not only your friend here but I am more of a subject matter expert than you in this capacity, freaking listen to me because I'm not getting shot down right before I leave to be a warrant and I'm out of this place.
I love this place. I love all of our NCOs, pilots, everyone and know we all do great work but oh my God. Where's my NCO who's gonna be there when this is happening and correct it?
Can I please get a large number 1, extra big Mac sauce please with extra pickle too? I'm feeling salty
