Spotify links automatically play when opening the Spotify app

Iām on iOS. When I go to the comments of a post that is a direct link to Spotify, the next time I open the Spotify app it will start playing that album/EP/single automatically. This is very annoying because I often just want to read what people are saying in the comments on music posts and not actually listen to the music that is posted. I curate the Recently Played bar on my Spotify homepage and this often fucks it up because something I would never listen to now pops up on the bar. Is there any way to disable this from happening?
