I don’t even know where to begin, my mother tested positive for Covid yesterday and I went to get tested today because my co-worker’s sister has cancer so she can’t get sick.

Thankfully I tested negative but because of it I was 2 and a half hours late for work, which was excused by my employer. I called my mother at lunch like I normally do and I told her the hell I’ve been through to come to work today after she told me she had Covid and supposedly we were in contact with each other the day she started having symptoms.

She then said “I’m sorry I ruined your life” then hung up on me.

If something doesn’t go her way she’s not happy she makes everything about money and throws tantrums like a five year old because she didn’t like what I grabbed off the shelf at the grocery store or she has to take me to the doctor.

One time when I was 18 I told her that I think I have an ear infection because I had all the symptoms and she said “ if you really had an ear infection you’d be rolling around on the floor screaming. I’m not taking you to a doctor.” Two weeks later I fly to New York and air travel can exacerbate an ear infection and by the time I get to New York I am in so much pain I had to check into the hospital. Low and behold it was an ear infection!

I am sick and tired of all the shit she tries to pull with me and the insane thing is I don’t live with her anymore. I moved out in January and yet she still feels the need to control me and say she disagrees with whatever because of her own personal baggage.

I would’ve loved to enjoy that weekend in Vegas with you next month, but now I think I’m gonna invite my friend who you like to call your favorite bitch.
