I’m new here and wanted to know if narcissistic traits can be brought out by a certain person only? Or very few people?

I’m questioning myself on whether I am narcissistic or not, based on the fact that I have absolutely no sympathy for my girlfriend when she is crying. Especially during our arguments. I’ll usually say something hurtful after going into a quick burst of anger (not sure why this happens) and she’ll start crying and ask how I could say that. But the thing is, it just doesn’t make sense? If she said that same thing to me I probably wouldn’t care at all.

In addition, I have been known to "use" people and used sex as a way for people to admire me or want me. I still have feelings and will even cry at movies/songs, just never people. Do I just a have some faulty wiring? How do I fix this? What do I do?
