Me and my gf have a 6 am flight from naples airport. We founs that the airport closes at night and only opens at 3 am. Is it possible to stay the night inside the terminal? Perhaps come before closing or something, or they wouldnt let us in or kick us out?
EDIT: Editing this post in case someone finds themselves in the same situation as we did. We were initially informed by airport security that we could wait in the arrivals area if we wished to stay overnight. However, at midnight, they abruptly asked us to leave, and we ended up sleeping outside the airport alongside numerous other people. We then went to a nearby capsule hotel, which wanted to charge us 60 euros for one person, for just 4 hours of accommodation. Instead, we decided to sleep on the sidewalk adjacent to the airport, and surprisingly, it turned out to be an okay experience, not too frightening, thanks to the pleasant September weather. If you ever encounter a similar situation and the weather is favorable, consider spending the night outdoors, as paying 120 euros for just 4 hours seems exorbitant.
