for me, it was finding out that due to my manager being a boss at rotors, i have a bunch more holiday than i thought. essentialy i work at a super market and my manager is a bad ass, who about 80% of the time reduces the amount of holiday you are taking so you can get more time off over the year. well this month i have a stag doo coming up and i miss wrote how long i wanted holiday for. when i bought this to his attention and was worried, he was like " yeah, actually you can take it. turns out you have a lot more holiday left than you thought." so now i get FOUR days off from work in a row to work on my novel now. i also may be able to take the week between xmas and new years off for a wedding instead of just a two day period!! super happy now :)
