While writing a scene I realized that the events that brought the scene about need to be changed. Writing it as is leaves the entire thing with the completely wrong context. This would require retconning an entire scene from a previous chapter.

What's the rules on this? I'd need to completely remove a portion of text and replace it with something else entirely, but that's 200 words that would be removed. Do I erase it and eat the count or color the text white so it's no longer part of the book, but still part of the word count?
