Anyone else planning to do a rewrite this year?

Last year I blazed out 85k words in the month of November and still felt a long way from done with the story I was trying to tell. Sometime in February, still not done, I realized there was no way I was going to finish my ideas in under 150k words. I stopped writing.

This year, I'm planning to brutally cut huge chunks out of what I wrote last year, possibly whole characters with well developed plot arcs. I plan to rewrite massive parts, change the structure of the story pretty dramatically and try to get it down to about 120k if possible.

Anyone else in a similar boat?
