Hey yall, doing my first nano! Its a YA queer vampire story. This is my second novel but the first one took 6 years lol im having a lot of fun with it but im prob not gonns hit the 50k mark by the end of the month. Im about 6500 words in and am supposed to be double that. The thing is, i dont really mind. I see a lot of ppl doing nano say things like "ive written a billion words, its all shit of course,, but im gonna finish!" Which is awesome! But i feel like im in the complete opposite situation. This is definitely my best writing, miles beyond my first book, so im kinda okay with being a bit slow. I know thats sorta antithetical to the point of nano cause ur supposed to just get it all down. But im just curious if anyone else in a similar boat?
