The answer is no. One of my answers as to why I'm changing my name legally is I hate it, I've never bonded with my full legal name all of my life, and the main part is breaking family ties. I want my own identity.

I don't want a judge who's a parent that's going to use their opinion against me and not rule in my favor. 🙄 Typically, how long is the hearing?

I plan on changing it in a year and a half once my boyfriend and I move to another state. That way I'll start my new life under a new name.
