Unusual nature name with more conventional nickname(s) for a boy.

Help, namenerds! We've just found out we're having a baby boy in May. His older sister has an unusual flower name with a more conventional nickname (think like Primrose nn Rosie). For a sister we were considering Violet (a lot more conventional but a family name), Winter (honour name) or Briar. For a little brother...

My front runner, which I LOVE, is October nn Toby and / or Bo. I particularly like that it has two options for more common nicknames. Husband was on board when we were expecting our first child, before we knew she was a girl, but now says he hates it 🙄 He'd be okay with Tobias but that feels like a second-best alternative to me.

Husband likes Fox. I think it's okay.

Other names we both sort of like: Winter, Sparrow, Evan or Ianto (family name(s)).

Edit: We both love Hawthorne, but in the UK, the first syllable sounds like "whore".

Nature names we both dislike: Anything hypermasculine like Hunter or Hawk. Any tree names we've been able to come up with (and plant or tree species would need to be native to the UK, because Primrose and Sequoia just sounds daft).

Would love boy name suggestions with a nature / flower/ season / wildlife feel. A million bonus points for unusual names (please feel free to wheel out your guilty pleasures!!!) with a more conventional nickname option.

Thanks so much in advance for your suggestions.
