I'm expecting a baby in May. I already have a daughter who is named for her great-grandmother (By a serendipitous roundabout route. Some of you might remember this - my daughter's botanical name has the same meaning in Victorian flower language as her grandmother's virtue name - pure luck!)
Obviously we don't know the gender yet, but if it's a girl we'd like her name to be a nod to her other great-grandma, Winifred (actually spelled Winefride, like the saint!) If possible we'd like a nature-y name to go with her sister's, but I'd love any and all suggestions you have for Winifred-inspired names.
The current frontrunner and obvious choice is Winter. Suggestions for middle or compound names for Winter welcome too (e.g. Winter Rose).
Thanks, lovely nerds!
