My SO's family has a thing about S names. His father and all of his father's siblings have S names. SO and his sibling have S names.
I mentioned the name Sawyer to SO and he really liked it. What other (preferably a bit unusual) S names can you think of? Boys, girls and unisex names welcome. The only S names that I like so far are Sawyer, Sean, and Selina.
Edit: I should have added that I teach so between trying to not repeat someone else's name in his family, I have the added joy of trying to avoid names of students, particularly ones who are annoying. But I also loathe the idea of a super difficult to pronounce names.
2nd Edit: Going to add Seren, Sasha (though I prefer Natasha), Sage, Sky/e, Skyler/Schuyler and possibly a few others to the list. Keep names coming :D
3rd Edit: I've decided that I dislike (for myself) names that sound like surnames. I also think it's a bit silly to have such a British surname sounding name for what will be a not-white kid.
