So, full disclosure, I have a single letter name. It is my first name, and yes, it is a single letter.
So I am a bit biased in this prompt.
But I am curious about what other people think. I know it is more common for people to have a single letter for a middle name than for a first name, but I’m cool with either.
I liken it to having a single syllable name.
Also, which letters do you like for a single letter name? (I have been made aware that my first name is not among the most common/popular single letter names. Some one in this sub even told me my name was not pleasing to the ear, I’ve since deleted that post.)
What are your thoughts?
Edit/Additional Note - A few comments have indicated that a single letter is not a name but an initial. This is very interesting to me. Do you all have thoughts on that?
My first “name” is what is listed on my legal documents. But now I’m wondering if I’m committing fraud any time I answer [the letter] when asked what my first name is? 🤣🤣 should I, from now on, say “I don’t have a first name.” That seems silly. 🤪
