It's been over three years since I named my second and last child with the help of this sub, and I'm back with a bit of an odd one! (Mods, I used the flair that seemed closest.)
For my turning-six-year-old's birthday party we are having an appearance by a very realistic T. rex (it's a guy puppeting an animatronic suit - they are absolutely amazing, and very convincing. Quite scary-looking).
My daughter thinks great big ugly T. rexes are "cute" (the reason we're doing this is because she fell madly in love with one at a theme park), and I know she will want it to be a girl T. rex, and she will want it to have a cute or pretty name - but like dialled up to eleven.
So I turn to you. Super cute, sugary names. You can't really be too on-the-nose here - current frontrunners are Baby and Tinkerbell.
Other info:
The dino is grey-green with sort of pinkish shading
My daughter's names for cuddly toys are still very literal (Monkey, Puppy) or to do with "love" words (Cutey, Adorable-y, Love Heart). She's kind of young for her age.
The T. rex she fell in love with last year was called Amber, so I've been thinking about gem names, but it can't be Ruby, Topaz, Amethyst, Emerald or Sapphire.
I can't attach images here, but if you want a pic of the T. rex, PM me!
