Want to change my whole name

Post Body

I don't like my name and I like even less that it was given to me by a family that was abusive and neglectful. I've been tossing around the idea of changing it and posted not too long ago asking for names that meant strong, resilient, etc. I did some searching on my own and found some good options for strength but also did some searching for ocean and wanderer/ explorer.

Here is what I found that seemed interesting. Some of these would be more appropriate as last names and some of them are more inspirational and I probably wouldn't want to rename myself that but helpful to get a sense of my name style and whatnot.

Help me with some first and last name combos and nick names please :) If you have any suggestions I'll happily take those too. I tried to stick with Euro-ish names as that is my heritage, primarily German, Irish, Scottish, Dutch, English.

  • Cyrene

  • Elfrida (elfie) -- just thought the NN was cute I don't think I'd actually go with this one for anything
