I jus watched XL season 1 after watching LOS. I made a post here about how annoying and selfish Jeff seemed on LOS and how I felt that strategy hurt him.

But in XL it seemed some of the folks in the the other group really didn’t like him . They were upset that he was going to not share his eel the 3rd time … and because they wanted to do extraction on their own (Jeff and EJ)…

This was insanity to me … the other group seemed like lazy weak links… they often were shown hanging around camping laying down. I rarely saw them hunting and when they did it was a fail. They really acted like Jeff was their dad and was supposed to provide for them in every way.

Many of the folks in that group were leeches - whose survival plan was to get connected to someone stronger to not get left behind. And had a bunch of drama and it was already a crowded group.

I don’t even understand how they were upset at Dani and wanted her to leave, but didn’t see why Jeff and Ej wanted to do their own thing. I get folks are hungry and sensitive but there was a lot of softies in that season.

Jeff fed them 3 times - literally a group of 7 he fed more than anyone in that group. He more than did his part. Why were they upset they didn’t get more from him ? Why didn’t they ever mention how they didn’t even offer to share sting ray or get food for them after him feeding them and OVER sharing 3 times ?

Not even a big Jeff fan. At all… but this was bothering me.
