I recently started buying some consoles to add to my new gaming room. I purchased a few consoles from a local shop including a n64 plus two matching Nintendo official ice blue controllers. I went to play some nfl blitz and displayed no controller found. Thought it was weird, powered down and plugged other controller in the first port and other controller in the second. Booted up, got about 2 minutes into the game and the console powered itself off and was just dead. Took it back to the shop he swapped it out no problem and said to retry the controller, got home today with it. Set it all back up, tried the controller with issues and same issue stating no controller found. I shut it off, swapped in a super Mario 64 and said no controller just long enough and then powered itself off and no longer works again. Anyone had issues with a bad Nintendo official controller and killing the whole console? Am I missing something dumb?
