Hello, my name is Mandy and I’m a trans women. I just found this sub and was initially very surprised by its existence....I was like trans people(well at least trans women) don’t date and we don’t have partners, so what is this site all about?
Generally speaking, through years and years of attempting to date or to at least find one guy who was attracted to me and also was ok with being seen with me(trans female) I’ve realized that trans women are usually just a dirty little secrete, we are a hookup and not an actual partner and I guess I’ve just accepted that fact....so when I saw this site I was like “wait, can a trans woman date?”......
But after reading through a lot of these post, it appears that most of these are from people who were already a couple and then one of them came out as trans....I really didn’t see any from someone who met a person they knew to be trans and were ok with it and dated that person anyway.
Am I wrong?
Are there a lot of cis people on here who met someone who was trans and you were not grossed out or embarrassed and you dated the trans person anyway?
I realize that a trans woman could date and it’s not like it’s an impossible feat...I’m just thinking that it’s so very rare
