I mean, the Twilighting joke is absolutely a bit mean spirited but since I know about Discord’s role in this whole Sombra situation, I realize that he allowed everyone in Ponyville and Canterlot to be brainwashed, including the Mane Six’s loved ones. And we can see that it absolutely destroyed them to see Spike, Starlight, the CMC, the Cakes, and their own families being forced to do Sombra’s bidding while being mindless zombies.
Discord being behind it all is what ruined it for me. No negative repercussions either, again.
I get he messes up sometimes, but it was just dumb he nearly caused the end of Equestria (again) and nothing happened.
The plot hole regarding Discord’s chaos magic. As Discord had his magic drained by Terek once before. I see no reason why he couldn’t do it again and control it just fine.
