Beauveria bassiana culture

Post Body

I know this subreddit is mostly mushrooms, but I have a question about fungal culture in general . I use Beauveria bassiana purchased commercially to control spider mites in my greenhouse with great success. It pretty pricey and I'm not sure about the shelf life, so I decided to try to raise some myself. I got a sterile grain bag from North Spore and introduced a tiny amount with a syringe . It's now about two weeks later and the grain is covered with fluffy white mycelia. My question is, what now? Do I let the colony grow indefinitely ? Will that affect viability ? Should I stick it in the fridge until I try to extract the fungi to spray on my plants? ( and while we are at it ....any reccs on that process?!?)
