Post Body

Hello everyone! I have a friend who I want to go on a simple mushroom hunt with. We thought it would be cute to have a sort of competition who could find the first mushroom of a certain type. Thing is, they are in Spain and I am in the USA. I’m hoping there is a variety that is common in both northeast USA and in Spain.

Are there any varieties that grow relatively common in both these places? Should be able to find in an urban area as well. I know this might be a big ask and maybe it doesn’t exist. And hopefully the variety is edible too.

Am I asking for something that doesn’t exist?
