Where's the Capcom hype? I know the hype is down for a good amount of people and that's fine, but where's Capcom's hype?

Do you guys remember when MVC3 was coming out and it seemed like we were getting hype videos for characters at least once a month and "Story" trailers every 2-3 months? Do you remember when UMVC3 came out and character reveals would come and the next week S-Kill would put out a 15 minute video just demoing the character? How about the craziness that was Street Fighter V? Can you remember the ridiculous promotions for Street Fighter X Tekken? Even after the gems and the on-disc scenario, Capcom went all in on each and every game they released. Even if we didn't care, they pushed and pushed and did everything in their power to show that this was something that they are proud of.

There has been none of that here. No panels prior to SDCC. Very few hype videos. Few updates. Drip fed information. It truly feels like they're throwing the project out there and saying "Make your own hype, we're fresh out." It almost feels like it's a chore. We're exactly two months out and I couldn't tell you what all modes are in the game. I know there's story! Is there Arcade Ladder? I know there's offline versus. Is that the only offline mode you're offering? Can I fight the CPU in Offline Versus? I think I read a article about online. Will there be lobbies? Spectator Mode? How big are the lobbies? Will there be different ways to play online mode? Are you going to give us cross-assault? Is there going to be a equivalent of Fight Money in this game? What can I expect as far as updates to this game?

Every other game that they've released, I've felt that I could answer some of those questions at this point - now it's just a blank slate. Some of them I could have missed, admittedly. The Jedah reveal almost felt like Capcom was like "Well, we've got to reveal SOMETHING."

I just don't understand. If they don't want to bring the hype, I'm having trouble seeing why I should maintain mine.
