What would be a more "advanced" definition for harmony?

Post Body
The standard definition of "Harmony is two or more notes/sounds sounding at the same time" sounds too basic for me. I might be wrong but I think that harmony is more about the relationship between different notes or frequencies and how they interact with each other in general (sounding at the same time and in succession).
Also if what I'm describing is not strictly harmony is there a name for that?
