Hello everyone! Yes, this is yet another request for songs about loneliness, but a rather specific one.
I'm looking for songs that are about being okay with being alone. Like, not necessarily happy, I'm not looking for "empowerment songs". Importantly, I'm specifically looking to avoid songs about "finding someone new". I need songs that acknowledge the fact that you're alone and while that might suck sometimes it's actually okay. That kind of stuff. I have exhausted my "suffering" playlist and I'm looking for something else, with not as much suffering in it.
Languages: English, Hungarian, Russian, German, French, BCMS. Genres: preferably something rock-ish, alternative-ish, electronic music-ish, please no Taylor Swift. I'm a huge fan of The Cranberries, maybe fellow fans will be able to remind me of some gem in their catalogue that I forgot about.
Thanks, and have a lovely week!
Edit 1. "Solitude and introspection" is a great wording used by one of the contributors below.
Edit 2. Self-recommendation, in case someone finds this thread: some songs by Woods of Ypres that do not involve a breakup. Especially "Allure of the Earth" and "Dirty Window of Opportunity".
