Artists/Albums that fit with Check Your Head and Ill Communication-era Beastie Boys

I've wracked my brain trying to find other music that hits the same check marks as these albums but the closest I've gotten is probably Public Enemy and Beck, and I'm sure there's got to be other stuff out there that was inspired by or inspiration for these albums.

Please do not just give me other 90s bands. Spotify's beastie boys radio has stuff like no doubt and primus, I'm specifically looking for other artists that could fit into that gritty hardcore punk meets experimental hip hop preferably with a sense of humor/irony niche. Don't send me Korn or Limp Biskit lol
