I’m a huge fan of acts like Beach Boys, Enya, Jacob Colier, The Four Freshmen, etc. I enjoy mixing music with a lot of vocal harmonies that accompany the instruments. I’m looking for any tips in the mixing and mastering process of heavily stacked session. We’re talking at least 20 vocal stacks, and I’ve been using GarageBand to practice mixing. I’ve sort of gotten better at eq but I could still use some tips and compression has me in a chokehold. I’ll take all the help I can get with that, but ALL advice is welcomed!
