So i have been playing guitar for 3-4 years. Have little song writing experience and 0 recording/mixing skills. recently i have been straying from learning songs to wanting to write and record my own stuff. i usually get an itch to write stuff but will spend hours trying to come up with something with no success. everything i come up with i think is very basic, corny, or just not good. the ideas that I do build off on I usually scrap completely before it gets far. i just cant come up with anything i find decent. i have recorded songs in the past but get embarrased from them and have deleted them usually after a week of finishing. any tips or just advice for struggling to write stuff you actually enjoy?
