Can one carry a guitar with him/her in an airplane without paying anything extra?
Post Body

I am going to be flying through Singapore airlines flight and I have to carry a 41 inch guitar (Yamaha F280) with me. I have been allowed 2 pieces in the checked in baggage and a cabin luggage. I wanted to know two things:- 1- can I carry a guitar and a small handbag as cabin luggage when I am officially allowed only one free cabin luggage? 2- if I do plan to carry the guitar as a cabin luggage, do they allow that since in the policy they mentioned that the cabin luggage’s sun of length width and height should be of a particular size and of course a 41 inch guitars size exceeds that. So has one carried a guitar in an airplane as cabin luggage and if yes, please do provide any tips/tricks you have used to do the same. Thank you for the help homies!
