Hi! Like the subreddit description said, I’m a newbie and have never been to a music festival before! I grew up really sheltered, and now I’m finally independent/free! I suppose you can say that after all that sheltering, I’m really wanting to have more experiences and good times and meet new fun people!

I’m 20 years old and a college student in Atlanta, GA, USA. Does anyone know how I could find people to go with? Like a friend group who could adopt me or something? lol

I’ve been told to go to one alone and just meet people there, but I really don’t think I’d successfully talk to anyone 😳 I’d just be too shy and would try to have a good time on my own (but I think it’d be a waste because I like people/friends)

any advice or friendly support is appreciated!

p.s. I’m also a gay dude, so I don’t know if that’s helpful info??? My mentor at school always told me about how there’s a major “gay scene” in Atl, but it’s not something they got to show me because of covid
