Ok. So I haven’t seen it on Broadway or touring (though I’m heavily hinting I want it for Christmas to my bf! Lol). But I’ve loved the songs for a few years (albeit after everyone else knew about it).

After reading the hilarious reviews and laughing at the curly haired Ben Platt… the $5 theater had it and my bf and I hopped in a car and went to see it. He hates musicals and has said one a year… lol. Anyway. Neither of us hated it. Sure, the premise is awful but aside from Ben being a bad casting choice.. it was ok.

The best part of the movie was sharing it with one other couple in the theater and the women literally talking about how everyone was a terrible person and going to hell… the last scene she called Zoe “seductive.” This went on throughout the movie.
