Got Cast as Potiphar in Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat

I was cast as Potiphar and though I see a good amount of examples and analysis of most of the other songs, I cannot find much about this song (Potiphar). Does this style of music have a name? Is there a character in something else or real life that Potiphar is based or inspired by? I get he's a rich well to do, who uses money and things to bandaid his dead marriage, but I like to have a similar separate inspiration to build on.
