under Live Oak tree, what is it?

this was found in a mulch bed, next to a southern live oak in Orlando, Florida. smells vaguely fishy? was in cluster but others were all tiny in comparison. have seen similar ones in same mulch bed in past, sometimes even bigger than this one. 4th picture is one of the immature ones cut in half (no plans to ingest, just wanted to have pictures of them cut in half)
