Tips for Teaching Child from monolingual household

Teaching a Second Language

Happy to find this subreddit! I was hoping to hear thoughts on the best course of action for having our daughter learn Spanish. Native English speakers, my wife and I both took Spanish throughout grade school but are by no means fluent. We live in an area with a high Spanish population. Any parents with suggestions or tips to help our child be successful in learning? Is it futile knowing that we only speak one language at home?
