Gimbal and gopro or gimbal camera or gimbal dslr?

I want to get into 2k (4k) video and orthomosaic mapping and wanted to avoid mounting a dslr mostly cause I don't trust it on a drone. Any leads for a good gimble camera or is a gimbal and a go pro a great mix I want the highest quality for the best price. Preferably less then $400 CAD but if the product is worth more I'd love to understand it any maybe pony up more cash. Also I am not dead set on any particular rig(drone) feel free to suggest anything. Thank you for the support.
