Armed with a spiffy new darksteel body, the Planar Bridge and the knowledge that everyone thinks he’s dead I feel like it’s finally time for Tezzeret to shine. I have waited so long for my guy to get that darksteel shine and now it’s finally time for Tezz to strut his stuff.
But then I realized the scope of what the last story arc did. So, I would love to ask, would it take a new evil MacGuffin that Wizards pulls out of their ass for Tezzeret to pose a threat anywhere on the same scale of the Phyrexians? Or can anyone think of a scenario that could exist within our current timeline that would make Tezzeret an inner planar threat?
I personally was racking my tiny monkey brain trying to come up with something that wouldn’t feel incredibly forced so I’d be very curious to hear what anyone else thinks. Also, if Tezzeret somehow lost the Planar Bridge, then I guess that pisses away some of his threatening power, but he’s still my indestructible little man.
