Question About Deck Boxes and Card Storage

Sorry if these seems like a dumb question but I'm having mixed results with google.
I'd like to know if mtg and taro cards are the same size. I'm trying to buy a really nice leather storage box for my stepsons MTG cards and I'm seeing a lot of different kinds. It seems like there's better selection and quality with taro deck boxes but I don't want to get him something that's the wrong size.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
