I grew up in Staten Island and visited often there. All my life I had heard of strange tales of the paranormal at this establishment and was curious if anyone here knew of some the stories of this hotel. I knew of a story my grandfather told me where he interacted the ghost who lives in the somerset room, Martha Mesereau, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY, in the atrium. It's also supposed to be an incredibly creepy place when ocean fog settles in. This hotel is also still entirely functional.
