I’m very overwhelmed at this point! I hired a highly rated moving company to assist me moving from a 1 bed room apartment to a 2 bedroom apartment within the same town. The downside is I’m moving to the 3rd floor!!! There’s no elevators so I already feel guilty hiring this company bc the amount of strength they’re gonna need!
I’ve packed everything as best as I can, I just feel like I have too much stuff but all of it necessary (I’ve so far thrown out 7- forty gallon size bags away).
They’re giving me 4 men with a 2 hour time limit and they’re charging me a 75 dollar inconvenience fee for the stairs, so would I still need to tip?
Any advic on how to make this process as smooth as possible for them? I’ve labeled all my boxes and containers including what room and if they’re heavy, fragile, light etc. anything else?
UPDATE 10/3- The movers came and gone! They did a wonderful job, despite moving me to the third floor they got everything done within 2 hrs and 30 mins! I provided them with donuts, pigs n blanket, water and Gatorade. I also gave them 50 dollars each as tip! I appreciate all the comments just thankful this day is OVER!
