/uj assuming you’re asking earnestly: woman here to tell you I agree. It‘s the time period in this example, but I also so often find it distracting in others. I hate how everyone appears to look more and more similar.
On one hand I think ‚ok maybe the botox and filler will at least get women above 35 roles‘ but then Oppenheimer also doubled the age gap between Opi and Tatlock from him being 10 years in real life to 20 years older in casting. That‘s always been very uncomfortable.
Jeez I‘m putting my honest feelings on a circlejerk sub, hope I won‘t regret it lol

Fictional women can‘t defend themselves. I guess actively hating on women they wouldn‘t even get to talk to in real life gives them a kick, idk
