Spooky month is upon us and I’m rather squeamish when it comes to horror movies, but my girlfriend’s trying to help me shake it off as we countdown to Halloween and I want your suggestions. Looking for genuinely good horror movies, horror comedies, psychological or body horror, sci-fi, monsters, slashers, and so bad it’s good horror movies. Lastly I wanna keep excessive jump scares to a minimum. A couple used well are fine, but a horror movie shouldn’t rely on them. And not an excessive amount of torture. Saw and Saw-likes are a huuuge no go.
