Post Body

I need your help, it was a movie I saw on, early 2000's, since then this movie comes back to haunt me and I've never been able to find the movie or something about it. I even thought it was a dream. Anyway, I'm going to tell you what I remember about it, if you can help me I'd be very grateful and I'll tell everyone to watch it because it's one of the most beautiful movies I've seen so far. It is either Japanese or Chinese. It's about a broken vase, and the art of repairing vases, Chinese perhaps, centuries old! It takes place in a small village, it's winter and the girl's father, who is the protagonist of the film, dies, and the villagers get together to take the body to the top of a mountain, where he wanted to be buried. And she spends the movie trying to fix the toilet, remembering how her father taught her. The film has few dialogues, it is mostly black and white, and only the landscapes have color, beautiful photography of the cherry trees with snow etc... If anyone has seen or knows something, please!! I will be eternally grateful!
