It all started when a friend suggested me to watch eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, what can I say about it, it's a great movie and Jim Carrey fits perfectly the character. Ater that I went full immersion (because why not, I'm still in quarantine) watching Ace Ventura 1 & 2 (those were pretty funny). Truman show is a great movie as well which aged pretty well imo. Dumb and dumber 1&2, I loved the first one, the second one was just decent. Liar liar was pretty good. I really liked Yes man, a pretty underrated movie. The mask is a classic, just don't watch the second movie which sucks. The number 23 was a good thriller. The last movie I watched is Sonic the hedgehog, where Carrey fits really well the role of Dr. Robotnik. I know I didn't watch all his movies but that was my marathon of one movie with Jim carrey a day. From all this I learnt that I prefer the movies where he performed more serious roles, like in eternal sunshine, Truman show and yes man, but also he's a really good comic actor.
