Post Body
For me, it would be Chappie (2015). The cinematography and SFX were excellent and the story was compelling. It made great points about nature vs nurture and growing up with poor role models. It also had thought-provoking themes about artificial intelligence and immortality and the militarization of police forces. The acting was pretty good despite the leads being non actors. Despite all this, it had awful reviews and a meager box office.
