A couple of days ago I ranked 2017's Best Picture Nominees using the IMDB & RT scores. However I used the wrong RT score and failed to use Metacritic and I have a much different response now I have done it. I averaged out each of the 9 films' Metacritic, IMDB & Rotten Tomatoes scores to find out which films deserve the Oscar. I must stress before I get all the hate that this is more of an experiment than saying what should actually win, by no means listen to these ratings. Tell me what your opinion on the films are though!
Results:
Moonlight - 9/10 (8.3/10 IMDB, 88% RT, 99% MC)
La La Land - 8.866667/10 (8.6/10 IMDB, 87% RT, 93% MC)
Manchester by the Sea - 8.7/10 (8.3/10 IMDB, 82% RT, 96% MC)
Hell or High Water - 8.466667/10 (7.7/10 IMDB, 89% RT, 88% MC)
Hacksaw Ridge - 8.3/10 (8.4/10 IMDB, 94% RT, 71% MC)
Hidden Figures - 8.266667/10 (8/10 IMDB, 83% RT, 81% MC)
Arrival - 8.2/10 (8.2/10 IMDB, 83% RT, 81% MC)
Lion - 8.066667/10 (8/10 IMDB, 93% RT, 69% MC)
