Jurassic World and product placement: What are your thoughts?

I thought the "Samsung Innovation Center" and the Mercedes Benz cars were just so tacky and intrusive. In the past, you could get through movies without even realizing that a company had paid to be a part of it. The beginning of Jurassic World just felt like an advertisement, with that scene ONLY showing the triple curved displays as well as the super obvious logo placements. Not to mention the Verizon and other corporations that were paying for the manufacture of the dinosaurs. It's so disappointing that an artist and legend, SPIELBERG, with a portfolio of solid gold and a giant in the industry, has to bow down to this stupid ad shit. A real shame.
