I've never been a big fan of movies, mainly because I rarely ever go to the movie theater; I could count the number of times I've gone to the movies using just the fingers on my hands. Just recently, I've started getting into movies a bit more and I've started watching a few.
For the short amount of time that I've dived into movies, I've found that I am more attracted to poorly-received movies or flicks that have less-than-average scores in terms of critic reviews. The few that I've watched are "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters", "Legion", and about to start watching "Priest".
I've considered migrating to more well received films, namely starting with "Pacific Rim". What are your thoughts on these "less-than-average" movies? Do they have some sort of charm despite their lackluster reviews? Do certain movie titans like "Pacific Rim" live up to the hype? I have my own opinions on the movies I've watched thus far, but I want to get others people's input.
