Im currently training for the marine corps marathon in DC and i felt like its only fitting to watch some movies/tv shows featuring the Marines. So far ive seen:

Jarhead: This movie was so entertaining when i watched it! Jake Gyllenhal did an awesome job, i truly thought he was a jarhead , Full Metal Jacket, The Pacific (tv): honestly, if youve never seen this show, add it to your list! Such a phenomenal show!

Im also super open to any documentaries on pbs or something. Any other recommendations?

UPDATE: just watched the movie on Netflix called, “Meghan Leavy” a story about a female handler and k9 tour in Iraq. Probably the most heartfelt/touching film ive seen in a while
