Have you ever had one of those moments where you randomly pick a movie to watch, not expecting much, and it ends up being absolutely amazing? I like to call that hitting the "movie jackpot."
Maybe it was something you found on a streaming service, or a film you caught on TV late at night. What was the movie, and what made it such a hidden gem for you?
I'm always on the lookout for great films that might not be super well-known, so I'd love to hear about your best random discoveries. Maybe I'll hit the jackpot with one of your suggestions!
Looking forward to your stories and recommendations!
La Confidential. I knew nothing about it when I turned 30, my buddy had the vhs. Great cast, great film noir, great 90s flick, great story! Also, great book! Love the La Quartet. Although I love the, “Big Nowhere” more than La Confidential. One of my favorite films!
